General Terms of Service

Please note: the summary below covers the conditions guests ask about most often. The full rental agreement is provided and signed at the office before collection, and it is that signed document which governs your hire. Ask us for a copy in advance at any time.

Who may drive

Drivers must be between 21 and 75 years of age.
A valid driving licence must be held and presented at collection.
Drivers must be fit to drive.
Additional drivers must be present at collection with their own licence so they can be named on the agreement.

Booking and payment

Reservations are made free of charge and are not confirmed until we reply to you.
Payment is taken at pickup. Debit and credit cards are accepted.
A valid credit or debit card in the main driver's name is required for the security deposit pre-authorisation.
The deposit is released after the vehicle has been returned and checked.

What the rate includes

Comprehensive insurance, with the applicable excess explained before signing.
Unlimited mileage across Malta and Gozo.
Applicable local taxes.

Collection and return

The vehicle is inspected and photographed together with the hirer at collection and again on return.
Fuel is supplied and returned on a like-for-like basis.
The Bugibba office operates 09:30–17:30. Collections outside these hours are arranged in advance by WhatsApp or email.
Returns may be made at any hour using the after-hours drop-off.

Use of the vehicle

Vehicles may be driven throughout Malta and Gozo, including on the Ċirkewwa–Mġarr ferry. Please tell us if you plan to cross so it can be noted.
Vehicles may only be driven by drivers named on the signed agreement.
Any accident, damage or theft must be reported to us and to the police as soon as it occurs.

Cancellation

Cancellation is free of charge. Let us know as early as you reasonably can so the vehicle can be offered to someone else.
